The Oklahoma Veterans Creative Fund keeps SPARK!'s free workshops going in 2027: music, painting and mask-painting, designed and led by Veteran artists. Some of the Veterans who begin in these workshops go on to share their stories on stage at Ditty Bops, January 29–31 at Oklahoma Contemporary.

$50 helps bring a two-hour, Veteran-led, trauma-informed creative experience to an Oklahoma Veteran.

And it works. 95% of participants say they feel more connected to others, and 100% would recommend SPARK! to another Veteran. Zack Milner (U.S. Navy, Ret.) came to SPARK! as a workshop participant and now helps lead them:

SPARK! is one of only 48 organizations nationwide, and the only one in Oklahoma, to receive a 2026 Creative Forces® Community Engagement Grant. Your gift helps meet the grant's community cost share, pay artists fairly and keep every program free.
